imperative sentence in the passive voice has the following form:
Let + object + be + past participle.
Examples:
Active: Close the door.
दरवाजा बंद करो।
Passive: Let the door be closed .
दरवाजा बंद किया जाए।
Active: Do it at once.
इसे तुरंत करो।
Passive: Let it be done at once.
इसे तुरंत किया जाए।
Active: Open the door.
दरवाजा खोलो।
Passive: Let the door be opened.
दरवाजा खोला जाए।
Active:Do it .
इसे करो।
Passive: Let it be done.
इसे किया जाए।
When the active voice is in the negative, the passive voice takes the form:
Let + object + not + be + past participle.
Active: Do not beat the dog.
कुत्ते को मत मारो।
Passive: Let the dog not be beaten.
कुत्ते को मत पीटा जाए।
Note that do is not used in the passive form.
We can begin the passive sentence with you if we want to put emphasis on the person addressed to.
Compare:
Active: Help me.
मेरी मदद करो।
Passive: Let me be helped.
मेरी मदद की जाए।
Passive:You are requested to help me.
आपसे अनुरोध है कि मेरी मदद करें।
Active: Learn the poem.
कविता सीखो।
Passive: Let the poem be learned.
कविता सीखने दो।
Passive: You are asked to learn the poem.
आपको कविता सीखने के लिए कहा जाता है।
Active: Don’t touch it.
इसे मत छुओ।
Passive: Let it not be touched.
इसे न् छुआ जाए।
Passive: You are warned not to touch it.
आपको चेतावनी दी जाती है कि इसे न छुएं।
Note : that the passive form has to begin with you when the object of the active verb is not mentioned.
जब Active voice की object का उल्लेख नहीं किया जाता है तो passive form 'You ' साथ शुरू होना चाहिए।
Active: Work hard.
कड़ी मेहनत करो।
Here the active verb does not have an object. Therefore the passive form should begin with you.
यहां Active voice में कोई object नहीं है। इसलिए passive रूप 'You: साथ शुरू होना चाहिए।
Passive: You are advised to work hard.
आपको कड़ी मेहनत करने की सलाह दी जाती है।
Active: Get out.
बाहर जाओ।
Passive: You are ordered to get out.
आपको बाहर निकलने का आदेश दिया जाता है।
