How can we express our Intention/Determination in English
इरादा और संकल्प को अंग्रेजी में कैसे व्यक्त किया जाता है।
कुछ वाक्य रचनाओं से इरादा / संकल्प (intention / determination) का बोध होता है -
Structure of sentence
1. Subject + is / am / are + going + infinitive ।
2. Subject + is / am / are + going + to be + noun
Examples
(01) He is going to learn English.
वह अंग्रेज़ी सीखने जा रहा है / सीखने वाला है।
(02) He is going to get promoted.
वह पदोन्नति पाने जा रहा है / पाने वाला है।
(03) He is going to be an Engineer.
वह इंजीनियर होने / बनने जा रहा / वाला है।
(04) She is going to be a president.
वह अध्यक्ष बनने जा रहा / बनने वाला है।
(05) He is going to open a new shop.
वह नई दुकान खोलने जा रहा है / वाला है।
कुछ वाक्य-रचनाओं में इरादे का भाव व्यक्त करने के लिए क्रिया इरादा (intend) का प्रयोग होता है-
Structure -
1. Subject + verb (intend) + infinitive (to + verb).
2. Subject + verb (intend) + verb + ing
Examples
(01) He intends to deceive me. / He intends deceiving me.
उसका इरादा मुझे धोखा देने का है।
(02) 1 intend to help him. / I intend helping him.
मेरा इरादा उसकी मदद करने का है।
(03) I intend to teach her maths. / I intend teaching her maths,
मेरा इरादा उसे गणित पढाने का है।
टीप – (1) हिन्दी के वाक्यों में इरादा एक संज्ञा है जो कर्ता का कार्य करता है लेकिन अंग्रेज़ी वाक्यों में इसे क्रिया (intend) की तरह इस्तेमाल किया गया है।
(2) जब इरादा (intention) का इस्तेमाल संज्ञा की तरह होता है तब अंग्रेज़ी वाक्य इस तरह बनाया जाता है-
1. Subject (intention noun इरादा ) + is + infinitive (to + verb)
2 Subject (intention = संज्ञा इरादा) + is + infinitive (to + verb)
Examples
(01) His intention is to purchase a new computer.
उसका इरादा नया कंप्युटर खरीदने का है।
(02) My intention is to go to gym .
मेरा इरादा जिम जाने का है।
(03) Her intention is to be a tennis player.
उसका इरादा टेनिस खिलाड़ी बनने का है।
(04) Their intention is to get married. उनका इरादा शादी करने का है।
कुछ वाक्य-रचनाओं से किसी कार्य को भूतकाल में करने के इरादे का बोध होता है। ऐसे वाक्यों में इरादा के लिए अंग्रेजी क्रिया intend का प्रयोग करते हैं। इनका अंग्रेजी अनुवाद इस तरह होता है. –
1. Subject (intention noun = इरादा ) + was + infinitive (to + verb)
2. Subject + was / were + going + infinitive
1.Subject + verb (intended) + infinitive
2. Subject +verb (intended) + to have + past participle (V3)
Examples
(01) I was going to buy a Laptop.
मैं लेपटाप ख़रीदने वाला था।
(02) I intended to buy a Laptop. / I intended to have bought a Laptop.
मेरा इरादा लेपटॉप ख़रीदने का था।
(03) My intention was to help the poor. / My intention was to have helped the poor.
मेरा इरादा ग़रीबों की मदद करना था।
