निरंतर वर्तमानकाल के उपयोग

Today we are going to learn When and where do we use present continuous tense.

आज हम जानेंगे कि हम कब और कहाँ इस tense का उपयोग करते हैं।

1.  We use present continuous tense to express an action which is going on or still going on.

जो कार्य  वर्तमान में लगातार हो रहा है  अर्थात जारी हैऔर समाप्त नहीं हुआ है को बताने के लिए हम present continuous tense ka उपयोग करते हैं। चूंकि का जारी है इसलिए इसे progressive tense औऱ  कार्य के समाप्त न होने के कारण imperfect tense भी  कहा जाता है।

Example

मैं निरंतर वर्तमान काल पढ़ा रही हूं।

 I am teaching present continuous tense. क्योंकि अभी पढ़ाने का कार्य जारी है समाप्त नहीं हुआ है ,इसलिए यह वाक्य present continuous tense है।

2. We use present continuous tense for an action happening right now at the moment of speaking.

 जो कार्य बताते समय भी जारी हो उसके लिए present continuous tense का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

Example

1. राधा मूवी देख रही है।

Radha is watching movie.

2. राहुल क्रिकेट खेल रहा है।

Rahul is playing cricket.

3. मैं अंग्रेजी का पाठ पढ़ा रही हूँ।

I am teaching an english lesson.

The actions  watching, playing and teaching are actions which are happening right now at the moment of speaking .

Hence these sentences are in present continuous tense.

2.We use present continuous tense to talk about  something that is happening around the time of speaking but not necessarily at this exact moment..

 वर्तमान में वह कार्य जो जारी हो लेकिन जरूरी नहीं की बताते समय भी हो रहा हो उसके बारे में बताने के लिए भी present continuous tense का प्रयोग होता है।

Example

1.मैं शासकीय प्राथमिक शाला खिसोरा में पढ़ाती हूँ।

I am teaching in Government primary School Khisora.

2. मैं शेक्सपियर की एक महान किताब पढ़ रही हूँ।

I am reading a great book of shakespeare.

Teaching and reading are in actions here which are not happening exactly at the time of speaking but these are happening  in regularly   in present time.

3.We use present continuous tense for an action that has been prearranged to take place in near future.

 उस कार्य के बारे में बताने के लिए   हम present continuous tense का उपयोग करते हैं जो योजना के मुताबिक भविष्य में होने वाले हैं।

Example

1. Ravi and Rahul are meeting tonight.

आज रात रवि और राहुल मिल रहे हैं।

2. मैं कम्प्यूटर ख़रीदने वाली हूँ/ जा रही हूँ।

I am going to buy a computer.

2. मैं अपना tv बेचने वाली हूँ।

I am going to sell my T.V.

4. राहुल कल दिल्ली के लिए रवाना हो रहा हैं।

Rahul is leaving for Delhi tomorrow.

5. शादी रविवार को होने वाली /होने जा रही है।

The wedding is going to take place on sunday.

4.We use present continuous tense to talk about persistent and undesirable habit. Specially with adverbs

Like

Always, constantly, continuously.

हम निरंतर और अवांछनीय आदत के बारे में बात करने के लिए भी इसका उपयोग करते हैं।

Example.

1. वह लगातार मुझे देख रहा है।

He is constantly gazing at me.

2. आप हमेशा शिकायत करते रहते हैं।

You are always complaining.

3.राधा लगातार  गरीब लोगों की मदद कर रही है/ करते रहती है।

Radha is  constantly helping poor people.
