पूर्ण भूतकाल/PAST PERFECT TENSE

इस काल में कोई कार्य भूतकाल में प्रारम्भ होकर  भूतकाल में ही समाप्त हो चुका था, भाव का बोध होता है।

भूतकाल के वाक्य की पहचान

इस काल के वाक्य के  अंत में चुका था, चुकी थी, चुके थे ) इत्यादि लगा रहता है। 

A.  Affirmative Sentence/सकारात्मक वाक्य

NOTE

सकारात्मक वाक्य में Singular subject और Plural subject  दोनों ही के साथ भी "had" का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

 Structure

कर्ता (Subject )+ had + क्रिया  (Verb) का 3rd Form + Object.

 Example

1. मैं बाज़ार  गया था।

 I had gone to market.

2. वे कल बाजार गए थे।

They had gone to the market yesterday.

3. संगीता यहां आई थी।

Radha had come here.

4. वह आज नाची थी ।

She had danced today.

5. हम पैसे भूल गए थे। 

We had forgotten the money.

6.  तुमने  कल आम खाया था।

You had eaten mango yesterday.

B.  Negative Sentence/ नकारात्मक वाक्य 

 Structure

कर्ता ( Subject ) + had + not + क्रिया (Verb )का 3rd Form + Object.

 Example

1. मैं बाज़ार  नहीं गया था।

I had not gone to market.

2.   वे कल बाजार नहीं गए थे।

They had not gone to the market yesterday.

3. राधा यहां नहीं आई थी।

Radha had not come here.

4. वह आज नहीं नाची थी।

 She had not danced today.

5. हम पैसे नहीं भूले थे। 

 We had not forgotten the money.

6.  तुमने  कल आम नहीं खाये थे।

You had not eaten mango yesterday

C.  Interrogative Sentence/प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य

 Structure

had + कर्ता ( Subject ) + क्रिया ( Verb ) का 3rd Form + Object + ?

 Example

1. क्या मैं बाज़ार गया था ?

Had I gone to market ?

2. क्या  वे  कल बाजार गए थे ?

 Had they gone to the market yesterday ?

3. क्या राधा  यहां आई थी ?

 Had राधा come here ?

4. क्या वह आज नाची थी ?

 Had she danced today ?

5. क्या हम  पैसे भूल गए थे ?

Had we forgotten the money ?

6.  क्या काल तुमने आम खाये थे?

Had you eaten mango yesterday?

D.  Negative Interrogative Sentence/नकारात्मक प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य 

 Structure

had + कर्ता (Subject ) + not + क्रिया (Verb) का 3rd Form + Object + ?
